Last Friday evening, the under 14 girls took on Kilcullen for their first match of the year. It was the girls first experience playing on a full pitch and they showed great determination and skill fighting right to the end to seal a well deserved win.

The backs were on form and marked their players closely making some key interceptions throughout the game. The girls in mid field commanded their areas well and provided great link of play to the forward line. Our forwards were quick of the mark, showed great skill and passed well between each other.

On a separate note, it was also a proud moment to see our girls lined out in our newly acquired jersey’s! Final score; 4:0 - 3:0 to Sarsfields.
