U12 Girls Sarsfields V Leixlip

What a morning!. The early start didn't seem to agree with our ladies!! Who are more used to a gentle start. It was all uphill from the start!( a far cry from our spiritual home on Sarsfields pitch 1) and we struggled to get to grips with a big ,physical and skillful Leixlip team. We survived until half time when the water and a refocus, along with a pep talk from Noel, seemed to do the trick !.
We burst out the gates for the second half and got first to the ball. A powerful display of defending all over the field and better movement of the ball helped us on our way and to a win .
What a team performance!! regardless of winning or losing, it's all about the team. We continue to move the girls to experience all positions on the field ..for the future
